Client Extensibility and .NET integration go hand in hand, but they are two separate concepts. With Client Extensibility, you enhance the Dynamics NAV solution by creating RTC client control add-ins. These add-ins can bind to fields of pages and allow for the transfer of data through XML. In this session we'll focus on client extensibilty and the API that is exposed for development in Visual Studio.

For the first part of this deep dive, we will be covering topics focusing on Silverlight, including the tools used (Visual Studio, Expression Blend) and development concepts (Solution Structure, MVVM, Data Binding, WCF Proxies) that can be used to create solutions for partners and customers.

After an introduction to this new technology, we will see some examples of use in some common scenarios integrating NAV and SharePoint as well as examples of extending the application to SharePoint. The SharePoint Client builds on the same RoleTailored platform as the existing Windows Client and increases the value of the investment you have made in Role Tailored applications.
